Practice Areas: Robert Kelner chairs Covington’s Election and Political Law practice group and provides political law compliance advice to a range of clients. His practice focuses on campaign finance, lobbying disclosure, pay-to-play, and government ethics laws. Mr. Kelner regularly advises corporations on instituting political law compliance programs and conducts compliance training for senior executives and lobbyists. He has extensive experience conducting internal investigations and regularly defends clients in investigations by the Federal Election Commission, the Department of Justice, and various Congressional committees.
