Practice Areas: Peter Hanschen is experienced in all types of energy matters, including state and federal regulation, energy-related transactions, arbitrations, and project financings. He has participated in “traditional” utility proceedings before state and federal regulatory commissions and the California Supreme Court. Working with the firm's Cleantech Group, he advises clients affected by regulatory and legislative developments, and clients that wish to take advantage of the unique opportunities offered by California’s leadership role in renewable energy and Cleantech. Peter also assists the firm's project finance team in the development and financing of domestic and international energy projects.
