Practice Areas: Mr Fitzpatrick has extensive experience representing issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions, principally in the utility and energy area. These transactions involve both taxable and tax-exempt securities, including "hybrid" securities. He has represented underwriters and electric and natural gas utilities in connection with stranded cost securitizations. He advises companies on general corporate and securities law matters, including continuing advice regarding compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and aspects of corporate governance.
