Practice Areas: Ernest Martin represents corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage matters including environmental claims, directors' and officers' liability claims, securities litigation claims, property damage claims, business interruption claims, IP claims, construction defect claims, product liability claims and general liability claims, among others. His experience includes multi-million dollar coverage litigation involving claims throughout the U.S. He is co-founder and past chair of the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and adjunct professor of insurance law at SMU Law School. Martin also represents clients against insurers for bad faith claims related to mishandling of coverage disputes.
