Practice Areas: Anthony Lupo co-chairs the entertainment/intellectual property group of the firm. He is one of the “go to” intellectual property lawyers on the East Coast for television and movie studios, including representing Pixar, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, WB, Turner, and Disney. He also represents a number of European fashion companies such as Diesel, Lacoste, Hugo Boss, Geox, and Benetton in all aspects of their US distribution, licensing, and intellectual property. He also specializes in post mortem publicity rights and represents the estates of Albert Einstein, Steve McQueen, Maria Callas, and The Marx Brothers. Anthony’s intellectual property and e-commerce experience includes representing computer and technology companies in offering on-line marketplaces including assisting Apple in setting up the first viable on-line music store. Finally, Anthony has a great deal of experience in assisting clients in protecting and enforcing their portfolios on a global basis. In this regard, he has assisted a number of foreign governments in revising their intellectual property laws to comply with international IP treaties, including assisting the governments of Indonesia, Vietnam, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
