He has tried and appealed cost recovery actions; defended in court and before agencies air, water, and hazardous waste enforcement actions, including citizen suits; obtained acquittals in regulatory crimes cases; handled contested environmental cases in bankruptcy proceedings; and obtained judicial invalidation of regulations.
