Practice Areas: Head of the Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency Group, Colin has specialised in corporate recovery, financial and equity restructuring and insolvency work since qualifying in 1992. He is accreditated by the Law Society of Scotland as an insolvency specialist. He acts for the major Scottish clearing banks in a wide variety of assignments involving both solvent and insolvent restructurings. Colin also acts for banks in relation to Scottish enforcement and insolvency practitioners after a formal insolvency appointment has been made.
Career: Colin has been part of market-leading corporate recovery practices in Scotland for many years, including Dundas & Wilson and as Location Head of DLA Piper's Restructuring Group in Scotland, before joining Brodies to lead its Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency Group in January 2008.
