Practice Areas: Deanne Maynard is chair of the firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court practice. She has argued 13 cases in United States Supreme Court and many more in various federal courts of appeals throughout the country in intellectual property, bankruptcy, securities, antitrust, and other matters. Her Supreme Court arguments include RadLAX Gateway Hotel, LLC v. Amalgamated Bank, MedImmune v. Genentech, and Pacific Bell Telephone Company v. linkLine Communications. From 2004-2009, she served as Assistant to the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice.
