Practice Areas: All areas of the law relating to occupational and personal pension schemes, including their establishment, funding issues, administration, alteration, taxation, merger, closure and winding-up; Strategic reviews of employers' pension arrangements (UK and internationally) and advice on cost saving measures, including the closing of defined benefit/final salary pension schemes to future accrual, ETVs, salary sacrifice arrangements and longevity swaps; Regulatory advice re the Pensions Regulator and HMRC; Dispute resolution including professional negligence claims acting for and against professional advisers, High Court litigation and complaints to the Pensions Ombudsman; The pensions aspects of multi-jurisdictional and UK private acquisitions and disposals, IPOs (on both AIM and the main market) and public and private sector outsourcing; Individual and corporate clients on pension arrangements for internationally mobile executives including QROPS and QNUPS including dispute resolution.
