Practice Areas: Stephen leads DMH Stallard’s Construction Group and specialises in all aspects of non contentious construction law. His expertise includes offering advice regarding methods of procurement for construction projects ; drafting Appointment documents for members of the Consultant Professional Team; drafting Schedules of Amendments to standard form Building Contracts and bespoke Building Contracts; drafting miscellaneous construction documents such as Parent Company Guarantees; performance Bonds and Collateral Warranties; and offering advice on contract interpretation during the course of a project and assisting in the negotiation and resolution of disputes. His recent workload includes acting for a leading UK Insurance Company in the preparation of all of their construction documents for projects to be undertaken by them in England and Wales and advising them regarding the construction documentation being prepared by third party developers where the client is either funding or forward purchasing a development, or buying a completed development.
