Practice Areas: Co-chair of Bingham's Intellectual Property Group and managing partner of San Francisco office. Was lead trial counsel in a broad range of high-profile commercial and intellectual property litigation, including most recently for Oracle in one of the US’s largest copyright infringement and Computer Fraud and Abuse Act cases. Substantive emphasis includes Internet intrusion, software and telecommunications technology. Has prosecuted and defended cases involving claims for copyright infringement, computer fraud, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, patent and trademark infringement, regulatory issues, business torts, and putative class actions.
