Career: Alessandro de Botton began his professional career at the end of 1997 with a well known Milan-based law firm, focusing mainly on litigation and arbitration, labour law and commercial contracts. In 2000 he joined the law firm Lombardi e Associati, practising primarily in corporate law, banking and finance. In 2003 he became junior partner with the law firm Pedersoli Lombardi e Associati, and thereafter with Lombardi Molinari e Associati of which he is partner as from 2006.

Personal: Born in Rome (Italy) on 15 October 1970, he graduated at the University of Milan (J.D., 1997). He also attended the University College London (LL.M. in International Business Law, 2001).
