Practice Areas: Partner, Head of the Hamburg employment law group and Managing Partner of Hogan Lovells' Hamburg office. He advises national and international companies on all employment law issues focusing on collective employment law including closures, collective dismissals and other reorganisations. He further has particular experience in transactional work such as outsourcing deals and structuring transactions, e.g. with regard to TUPE-regulations. His experience with respect to such projects in particular includes strategic planning and operational implementation, e.g. negotiations with works councils etc. On the employment litigation side, he has represented major clients in a number of well-received successful trials.
