Practice Areas: Specialisation: Advises companies, governmental and international organisations on a range of EU competition and State aid issues. Andrew has considerable experience of representing clients on high profile mergers, joint ventures, licensing, distribution, cartel and market dominance issues across a number of industries. He acts for both notifying parties and complainants before the European Commission, various competition authorities in the EU and before the General Court of the EU.
Career: Managed the Brussels competition group (2002 - 2006); partner in Freshfields since 1997.
Personal: Educated at Bristol University and at the College of Europe.
