Practice Areas: Erik Scheer is an attorney-at-law and Indirect Tax (VAT & Customs) specialist. His practice focuses on rendering advice to multinational and Dutch clients. Particularly in relation to the Indirect Tax aspects of cross-border transactions and customs valuation matters. He regularly represents clients in Tax Court, Dutch Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice. Erik represents clients before the European Commission with regard to complaint procedures, infringement procedures and related negotiations.
