Practice Areas: Specialises in claimant personal injury work, including employer liability, accident and industrial disease litigation. Predominantly does asbestos disease claims. Works closely with asbestos support groups and has been a speaker at conferences organised by support groups and medico-legal societies. A co-opted member of a sub-committee that drafted a protocol for terminal illness disease claims in Liverpool County Court. Based in the Liverpool office, which has received awards from Liverpool Law Society of Specialist Law Firm of the Year and Personal Injury Team of the Year. The awards were in recognition of the firm's efforts to assist local asbestos sufferers, particularly following success in a test case concerning dock workers (Rice and Thompson v Secretary of State for Trade and Industry).
