Career: Michael is head of the IP and Commercial team. He advises on dispute avoidance and dispute resolution involving intellectual property matters and commercial issues. He is highly experienced in pursuing and defending claims regarding trade marks, passing off, malicious falsehood, copyright and designs. He also advises on confidentiality, privacy and data protection. He has expertise relating to the law and practice of parallel imports and in combating counterfeiting. He also has expertise in advising on partnership disputes. Michael has lectured on intellectual property matters, appeared in training videos on trade mark law and is often quoted in the press. Michael has gained experience of all aspects of IP dispute resolution including the use of search orders and other types of interim injunctions.
