Practice Areas: Senior Partner and Head of Insurance specialising in employer's, public and local authority liability, but primarily major loss, occupational stress, education claims, and claims against social services. Mark has lectured for the CII, C.L.T. and ALARM, and gives regular talks to local authorities and insurers. Major case Barber v Somerset County Council, Harvey v Plymouth City Council and Micklewright v Surrey County Council.

Career: Qualified 1988 after a career teaching in Bethnal Green. Worked in London until 1993. Joined Veitch Penny (1993), becoming Partner (1996), Head of Department (2000) and Senior Partner (2008).

Publications: Author of numerous articles for various journals; most notably the Journal of Local Government Law, Insurance Times, LGC, CIR and the Personal Injury law Journal. Co-editor of the Medical Handbook for the Personal Injury Practitioner adopted for use by Kemp and Kemp.

Personal: Mark is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, enjoys cricket, theatre, jazz and supporting Bristol City.
