Corporate: The team handles international and domestic work, with particular expertise in M&A, capital markets, private equity, venture capital, inward investment, tax, regulatory, financial services and funds, insurance, competition and EU law issues. Intellectual Property: The firm is a recognised market leader in IP with one of the largest departments in Europe, and totaling over 100 specialist lawyers worldwide. The practice is very strong across the full breadth of IP disciplines including: patents; trademarks; both litigation and registry filing/ opposition matters in the UK and community trademarks offices; transactional advice; passing off; domain names; anti-counterfeiting; copyright cases of all types; reputation management; registered designs; data protection; and all areas of IT, e-commerce and internet-related issues. Finance: The finance practice offers an integrated service on every type of debt financing, working with banks, other financial institutions and corporates on all aspects of finance transactions and cross-border arrangements.
