Practice Areas: In-house counsel and partner in the Professional Regulation Group in Penningtons' London office. In April 2010, Nicole became one of the first barristers in the country to join a solicitors' partnership. Nicole acts for a number of regulators including the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and General Optical Council, appearing regularly as advocate before Disciplinary Committees. She also acts for a number of smaller, boutique regulators and advises individuals in relation to regulatory matters. Nicole has conduct of appeals, including Privy Council appeals, and judicial review applications. She runs committee training programmes and has advised individuals in relation to proceedings brought by regulators.

Professional Memberships: Gray's Inn. Committee and Editorial Board member of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Laywers.

Career: Called to the Bar 1992. Pupil then tenant at 1 Paper Buildings (then Chambers of Roger Titheridge QC) 1993-2002. In-house counsel at Penningtons 2003.
