Employment: The employment law practice focuses primarily on sensitive City issues and international employment arrangements and disputes. Core areas of expertise include: boardroom disputes; executive bonus and departure issues; high value and complex discrimination claims; senior executive appointments and service agreements; expatriate and international secondment arrangements and disputes; large scale redundancy programmes; team moves and restrictive covenant advice; and general employment law counselling for corporate clients.
Partnership: Partner team moves, partner departures and restrictive covenant advice, and partner discrimination issues are key aspects of the firm’s partnership law expertise.
CLIENTS CM Murray LLP offers expert employment and partnership law advice to multinational corporations, professional partnerships, directors, senior executives and partners. The Firm acts for a large number of overseas businesses, particularly US corporations with UK and European operations.
INTERNATIONAL Work with an international dimension is an important part of the firm’s practice. We have developed extensive links with employment and partnership law specialists in other countries to support our significant international client base. CM Murray LLP encourages both partners and associates to become involved in a variety of relevant UK and international associations. Current memberships held by members of the CM Murray LLP team include: UK Employment Lawyers Association (ELA); European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA); Association of Partnership Practitioners (APP); International Bar Association (IBA); American Bar Association (ABA) – Labour and Employment Section; International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA); Union International Des Avocats (UIA); German British Chamber of Industry and Commerce; Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and British - Japanese Law Association.
