Personal: Stephen is a solicitor and chartered town planner with 24 years experience in planning and leads the firm's Planning Team. Stephen spent 9 years working for local planning authorities before qualifying as a solicitor. Stephen specialises in major development and regeneration projects, new settlements and urban extensions, affordable housing, planning agreements and compulsory purchase. He is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a member of the Law Society's National Planning and Environmental Committee. He also co-heads the firm's international Government Sector. Stephen's current projects include advising Vinci/St. Modwen on the £2 billion redevelopment of New Covent Garden Market in Nine Elms, London; advising South Northamptonshire Council, Aylesbury Vale District Council and Buckinghamshire County Council on the redevelopment of Silverstone racing circuit; advising LB Hammersmith and Fulham on the £8 billion redevelopment of Earls Court; and advising Windsor and Maidenhead Council on the redevelopment of Maidenhead town centre.
