Practice Areas: Chancery litigation and advisory work in the UK and offshore, including domestic, off shore and cross-border trusts and will disputes, related tax and professional negligence issues, the drafting, structuring and advising in relations to trusts, succession planning and tax and related areas. Recent cases include Re the Valetta Trust [2011] JRC 227 a claim for fraudulent breach of trust which has established the validity of third party litigation funding arrangements in Jersey, Re MN [2010] WTLR 1355 (the first decision on the ambit of the international jurisdiction of the Court of Protection) Sprackling v Sprackling [2009] WTLR 897 (contentious Will rectification), Re IMK Family Trust [2008] JLR 430 (the landmark decision on the enforcement of foreign matrimonial judgments in Jersey), CvC (Privilege) [2008] 1 FLR 115 (applicability of legal professional privilege to disclosure by anstalt where wife claimed anstalt attempting to defeat her ancillary relief claim).
