Vast experience of murder and all other serious crime, including; gang related gun crime, terrorist offences, and cases stemming from large scale Police operations, involving covert surveillance, undercover deployment etc. Recent cases in Court of Appeal include bad character, hearsay, jury-improper contact/misbehaviour, RIPA. Highly publicised past cases include: Colin Gunn - “the Trusthorpe” murders; Gresham - driver of unroadworthy Land Rover which slid into a Lincolnshire river, killing four of his children who were passengers in the vehicle; Jackson - prosecution of double murderer, convicted of murder in 1989, following release he murdered again in 2008; Farrell & Cort - prosecution of solicitor and hit-man who murdered the former’s business partner in Leicester law firm; Hudson – the “family from hell” murder; Kelly & Andrews – drive-by shooting of Danielle Beccan; Robinson – Biggest ever legal aid fraud; Mann – double murder in nursing home.
