Career: Pedro S Maciel is head of Veirano’s Arbitration Group. He is specialised in complex and high exposure disputes before arbitral institutions in Brazil and abroad and also before Brazilian Courts. Pedro’s experience as counsel in arbitration and litigation covers a wide range of disputes in different sector such as construction, mining, energy, telecommunications, entertainment, banking as well as corporate disputes. Pedro also has served as arbitrator in international and local disputes under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, CIESP/FIESSP Arbitration Chamber and the Brazilian Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
