Practice Areas: Brian Burkett concentrates exclusively in the area of management labour relations and employment law, representing employers. His practice includes strategic input on development of labour and employment law policy in Canada and internationally; he is a member of the Executive Committee of Ius Laboris, a global alliance of 41 leading labour and employment firms. He is a member of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in the US. He is co-author of Canadian Labour and Employment Law for the U.S. Practitioner, published by BNA Books, and Federal Labour Law and Practice, published by Canada Law Book.
