Practice Areas: Mark Upfold specialises in PPP/PFI, infrastructure, water, project financing, energy and resources, privatisation and complex financing transactions. Mark has led our teams on a number of significant recent infrastructure transactions including acting for Sydney Water and the State of New South Wales on the successful refinancing for the $2.3 billion Sydney Desalination transaction announced in May 2012, the Darwin Correctional Facilities PPP and Marine Supply Base Project for the Northern Territory and the financing of the successful Gold Coast Rapid Transit PPP.
