Practice Areas: Rebecca practises in mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. Recently she led the team advising Centro Properties Group on its complex cross-border "loan to own" deal, which won multiple mergers and acquisitions/restructuring deal of the year awards, and advised Trade Me on its multi-awarded cross-border IPO. Rebecca is the 2012 Lawyers Weekly Australian Dealmaker of the Year. Rebecca has a key focus on the protection of directors and management in the deal context and is an advocate for directors’ duty reform. Rebecca is an adjunct lecturer-in-law at Sydney University and is on Herbert Smith Freehills’ Global Council.
