Practice Areas: John is a lead transaction lawyer and has led teams for public and private sector clients in major projects, comprehending privatisations and major government concessions, including CityLink and EastLink (in Melbourne) and Airport Link (in Brisbane). He has senior experience in the energy, transportation, health, agriculture and water sectors. John served as Chairman of a Commonwealth statutory authority and is lead adviser to the State of Victoria on the Victorian Desalination Project, Australia’s largest post Global Financial Crisis PPP. He has recently been the principal negotiator for the State in the restructuring of the Ararat Prison Project.
