Practice Areas: Klaus Haft is an attorney since 1997 and also holds a Diploma Degree in Physics. He advises in patent infringement litigation and subsequent litigation regarding damages in the entire area of Intellectual Property law, particularly in the fields of patents. His particular focus is on standard related litigation (including 3G, 2G, various ITU recommendations and IEEE standards, MPEG, MP3, JPEG), electronics and optoelectronics (including microchips, LEDs and storage devices), electrics (including power plants, wind energy and electrical grids, automobile, as well as antenna technology), software, and general mechanics.

Career: Parallel to his studies Klaus Haft started specialising in intellectual property law and in particular in patent law in 1990, while interning at a patent agents firm. Since then, he continued his specialisation with several patent attorney firms, law firms as well as patent and legal departments of engineering companies in Germany, USA and UK. He is one of the founding partners of Reimann Osterrieth Köhler Haft founded in September 2004. Klaus Haft is visiting lecturer at Hagen Law School.
