Practice Areas: Iñaki is the Managing Partner and the Head of the Finance practice in Spain. He specialises in Spanish and cross-border finance transactions, with special focus on leveraged acquisition/financing, restructuring and asset and energy project financing. His most recent experience includes acting on the: (i) debt restructurings of Metrovacesa, Reyal Urbis, Martinsa-Fadesa, Afirma/Quabit, Grupo Pinar, Grupo Zeta and Inmobiliaria Chamartín; (ii) €1.2bn sale and leaseback to BBVA of circa 1,000 bank branches throughout Spain, acting for a consortium of real estate private equity funds led by RREEF; and (iii) €19bn financing of Gas Natural's bid for Union Fenosa.
