Career: JD, magna cum laude, University of Pavia. Admitted 1959. Head and founder of Avv. Prof Adriano Vanzetti e Associati, Milan. He handles judicial and extra-judicial cases in all IP sectors. He has managed and co-ordinated important national and transnational disputes, often involving cross-border problems. Emeritus Professor of Intellectual Property Law in the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Milan. President of SISPI (Italian Society for the Study of Intellectual Property). In 1972, he launched the IP legal review 'Giurisprudenza annotata di diritto industriale' and has been its editor since then. Member of numerous ministerial expert commissions appointed by the Italian government for the reform of Italian laws in the field of IP law. He regularly organises, chairs and is a speaker at conferences in the IP field.
Publications: Author of numerous articles, monographs and commentaries in the field of IP law, including the 'Manuale di diritto industriale' (Italian IP Law Handbook, co-written with Professor Di Cataldo), Milan 1993 (7th edition 2012). In 2004 two volumes of papers in honour of Professor Adriano Vanzetti collected by scholars who studied under his guidance were presented to him.
