Practice Areas: Partner in Tax Group. Has acted on many cross-border and domestic financings and M&A transactions. Main area of practice is corporate income tax including mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, corporate finance, structured asset finance, joint ventures, restructurings, transfer pricing and other international transactions. Also represents clients on administrative tax appeals.

Professional Memberships: Law Society of Upper Canada. Former governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation and member of the Executive Committee. Past Chair of the National Tax Section of the Canadian Bar Association and Co-Chair of the Joint Committee on Taxation of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Publications: Frequent writer and speaker on tax matters. Former special lecturer on Corporate Finance and Purchase and Sale of a Business, Intensive Program on Business Law, Osgoode Hall Law School.
