Practice Areas: Leslie practises communications, competition and international trade law. Leslie regularly represents clients in proceedings before the CRTC on matters relating to telecommunications and broadcasting regulation and before Industry Canada in matters relating to radio spectrum, wireless apparatus and Canadian ownership and control requirements. Leslie also assists clients in clearing merger transactions through the Canadian Competition Bureau and has particular expertise in transactions involving the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors. She advises on the Investment Canada Act and Canadian international trade commitments under the CUSTA, NAFTA and WTO agreements, again with particular emphasis on telecom and cultural industries.
