With over 35 years of combined private and public sector experience, Michael has established himself as a leading trade lawyer with expertise in WTO and NAFTA and an impressive range that includes dispute settlement, import and export controls, regulatory law, information technology, government procurement and contracting, and government relations. He has acted as lead counsel in several large international investor-state arbitrations including a 120-claimant NAFTA Chapter 11 case.
