Zee Ahmedani has an impressive track record in investment funds and private equity work, and has considerable experience across the GCC, particularly in Qatar.

THE FIRM This Singaporean firm earns recognition for capturing a share of the mid-value commercial market, and for its unique position with regards to inbound investments from the Far East. Highlights include advising Abraaj Capital on the divestment of its 50% share in Turkish healthcare provider Abicadem. Atiq Anjarwalla is managing partner of Anjarwalla Collins & Haidermota's Dubai office and has extensive experience in Kenya, where he was originally based.
Emmanuelle Entringer of Arendt & Medernach has a number of years' experience in advising clients on the structuring of Luxembourg investment funds from the firm's representative office in Dubai.  
Gamal Abouali of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP transferred from the firm's Paris office to head the new Abu Dhabi practice. He is admitted to the Bar in France and New York, and is highly regarded for his expertise in M&A and capital markets transactions.
Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners' Francesca Cesca specialises in M&A transactions and cross-border work. Based in Abu Dhabi, she concentrates on work in India, Russia and China, although it is her role as a leading Italian lawyer in the UAE which is most notable.
Dubai-based Valérie Mantot of Loyens & Loeff advises clients on investment funds, private equity and Shari'a-compliant finance, particularly with regards to Luxembourg. She is dual-qualified in France and Luxembourg.
Quentin Lowcay moved to Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, having previously been at Kensington Swan, both leading New Zealand firms. He is very highly regarded for his expertise in the TMT sector and has a number of years' experience in serving Middle Eastern clients.
Netherlands expert Emile Bongers of Stibbe specialises in M&A, private equity and sovereign wealth funds from the firm's office in Dubai.

New Zealand-based Dean Alderton joined Bell Gully from SNR Denton's Dubai offices, where he had been a partner in the firm's corporate department. He specialises in M&A and private equity transactions.
