Profile

Practice Areas: As Head of the Dispute Resolution Group at Setterwalls until recently, Mr Nordenson has considerable experience in this practice area appearing regularly before Swedish courts as Counsel in commercial disputes and similarly as Counsel to Swedish and foreign corporations in arbitral proceedings in Sweden. He also serves as arbitrator in Swedish and international commercial arbitrations, both in institutional and ad hoc proceedings. He has been engaged in promoting international commercial arbitration in developing countries as team member in projects in Sri Lanka, Mongolia and North Korea.

Career: Partner with Setterwalls, Associate Judge at Svea Court of Appeal (1989), Chief Legal Counsel of the Swedish Fund for Industrial Cooperation with Developing Countries (1984-89), senior programme officer (industry sector) at the development cooperation office of the Swedish embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe (1981-84), Assistant Judge at Svea Court of Appeal (1976-78), law clerk at the Stockholm District Court (1974-76).

Personal: Born 1946. Attended University of Uppsala, University of Stockholm (LLM) and University of Oslo (Maritime Law).
