Practice Areas: Norbert advises on the commercial and regulatory aspects of the telecommunications and IT industries and co-heads the global telecoms, media and technology sector group at Freshfields. He represents telecoms operators in proceedings before the German regulator, European Commission and domestic and European courts, and advises investors on the regulatory environment of the TMT markets. Norbert is also an experienced compliance and investigations lawyer. His experience ranges from compliance management audits to internal investigations, in particular in bribery and fraud cases. He helps clients with conducting global internal investigations and due diligence on bribery and fraud in corporate transactions.
