Practice Areas: Lourdes CATRAIN is a highly-regarded lawyer who heads the EU trade team and is resident in the Brussels office. Her practice focuses on trade defence investigations, dual-use and export controls, as well as economic sanctions (e.g. Iran, Syria). She is also involved in WTO disputes and litigation before the European Courts. She has recently obtained an annulment before the EU General Court of the acts that included Qualitest FZE within the list in the Iran Sanctions Regulation which resulted in the freezing of the company's assets. She counsels on investment issues, rules of origin and EU-FTAs.
