Recent transactions include advising Carlyle in connection with refinancing of the funding originally in place for its 2007 acquisition of a stake in HDFC and the arrangers of the US$6 billion facilities to back Vedanta’s acquisition of a controlling interest in Cairn India and the arrangers of the innovative financing structure put in place to fund CVC’s acquisition of Matahari Department Stores.
