Practice Areas: Andrew has extensive experience advising lenders, borrowers, sponsors and joint venture partners on financing matters with a nexus to Asia, particularly South and Southeast Asia. Most of the transactions on which he advises are in the mining, natural resources and power sectors and are highly structured (eg. project and reserve based financings). Andrew has particular expertise advising on transactions involving Indonesia, having worked for many years with Herbert Smith Freehills' associated firm in Jakarta, Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung. He is recognised for his technical ability and legal knowledge and has previously been ranked as an Associate to Watch.
